Giacomo Braschi holds a PhD in private law, specialising in intellectual property and competition law. He practises as a solicitor at the law firm Netforlegal. In his role as a Data Protection Officer (DPO) or member of the DPO team, he primarily deals with personal data protection and ICT law, having advised and continuing to advise companies and organisations operating in various sectors, including: healthcare, pharmaceuticals, digital, e-commerce, telecommunications, ICT, finance, education, the non-profit sector, and large-scale retail.

In the course of his professional activity, he has initiated numerous collaborations, including:

• Collaborations with the University of Pavia as an expert in industrial law.
• Collaboration as an author with Agenda Digitale and Cyber Security 360, online newspapers dealing with issues related to digital and personal data protection.
• Collaboration as an author with several legal journals also academic in nature (including IDI, AIDA, DRI).
• Collaboration with IULM, within the Law for Business and Digital Communication Course (IULM), speaker of several seminars.
• Collaborations with IULM as a lecturer for the course of Law for Business and Digital Communication.
